The Gulf of Hisarönü Cruise

A relaxing sailing journey along the Turkish coast between Marmaris and Bodrum

Duration: 8 days / 7 nights
Period: From the first weekend in May to the end of October
Embarkation: Marmaris, Turkey or Bodrum (Saturday from 16:00)
Disembarkation: The following Saturday after breakfast (08:30)
Itinerary: Marmaris → Marmaris, Marmaris → Bodrum, or Bodrum → Marmaris

This cruise explores the beautiful Gulf of Hisarönü along the Turkish coast, sailing between secluded coves, charming fishing villages and historic coastal landscapes.

Throughout the journey you will discover stunning bays, crystal-clear waters and traditional villages such as Bozburun, Selimiye and Orhaniye. The coastline offers countless opportunities for swimming, relaxation and quiet exploration.

Stops along the route may include Kadirga Bay, Ciftlik, Serçe Bay, Bozburun, Selimiye, Orhaniye, Datça and Bozukkale, each offering its own atmosphere and natural beauty.

The region combines peaceful sailing with fascinating history. At Bozukkale you can walk up to the ancient ramparts overlooking the bay, once part of the settlements involved in conflicts between the Spartans and Persians.

Dalaman Airport
Distance Dalaman – Marmaris approximately 97 km (taxi approx. €50)

Alternatively Bodrum Airport
Distance Bodrum – Marmaris approximately 130 km (travel time approx. 1h35 – taxi approx. €75)

It is also possible to arrive via Rhodes Airport in Greece. From there, take a taxi to Rhodes port (approximately 17 km) followed by a ferry crossing to Marmaris (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes).

Transfers can be organised if required and should be booked when making your reservation.

Transfers are available for groups from 3 to 50 passengers (private chauffeur-driven van, VIP minibus up to 15 passengers or coach for larger groups).

Cabins are also available for purchase on this cruise. Availability varies depending on the dates and should be requested when booking.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Saturday

✈ Flight to Dalaman or Bodrum. Airport, welcome by our concierge, transfer to Marmaris Marina, boarding and briefing on your stay. Depending on your arrival time, immediate departure for your first cove. Dinner on board.

Day 2: Sunday

Kadirga Bay, Ciftlik and/or Serçe for breakfast. (Sailing time = 2 hours) – From cove to cove, swimming and first tastes of your sunny holiday. Lunch and dinner on board in the cove.

Day 3: Monday

The bay from yesterday towards Bozburun. (Sailing time = approximately 2.5 hours). The shores of this bay offer countless opportunities for swimming in stunning waters. You'll love it. Kızıl Island and the village of Bozburun are your stops for the day. Dinner on board.

Day 4: Tuesday

From Bozburun to Selimiye – Orhaniye (approximately 2.5 hours sailing). We'll sail in the bay of Selimiye village, a truly charming village. We'll make several swimming stops in the Gulf of Hisarönü, then head towards the stunning bay of Orhaniye village. A barely submerged strip of land allows you to walk across the entire bay. Dinner will be served on board.

Day 5: Wednsday

From Orhaniye to Datça. (Sailing time approximately 2.5 hours). Dinner on board. Bencik, your first stop, known locally as "Where the fish jump over," then on to the port of Datça. Dinner on board and overnight stay in the small port of Datça.

Day 6: Thursday

From Datça to Bozukkale (meaning "broken castle"). (Morning sailing, 2 hours 45 minutes). Leaving Datça, numerous coves and bays lead to the stunning bay of Bozukkale (site of Spartan settlements fighting the Persians 400 years BC). Access the ramparts overlooking the bay, a 10-minute walk. Dinner on board.

Day 7: Friday

From Bozukkale to Marmaris. (3 hours 15 minutes sailing time). Before reaching Marmaris at the end of the day, enjoy your last swims of the trip in the bays of Serce, Arap Adassi, or others. Sail along the coast back to the port of Marmaris. Dinner on board and free time in the evening.

Day 8: Saturday

✈ Transfers. Breakfast on board then disembarkation at 8:30 am. Transfer to airport.
